Having nearly 20 years of experience in the commercial interior design industry, Ms. Blumenauer has cultivated a vast knowledge of programming, space planning, design development, BOMA calculations, construction documentation, and construction administration. The majority of Mandy’s work focuses on the design, renovation, and property management of buildings and offices spaces for government and institutional clients (e.g., the National Air and Space Museum, the U.S. Agency for International Development, and the World Bank); government contractors and other private sector clients (e.g., Engility Corporation, BAE Systems, and Unisys); and developers and building management companies (e.g., COPT, Equity Office Properties, KBS Realty Advisors, and Transwestern). A valuable asset on projects with sustainability objectives (several of her projects have achieved LEED certification), Mandy also takes an active role in optimizing DBI’s use of architectural design technology and implementation (including Revit, three-dimensional modeling, and NAVISworks clash detection).
