This Network Operations and Combat Support Center was constructed in two distinct phases. Each new spatial use was planned in a predetermined area, based upon the Department’s existing functions. This presented a challenge for the design due to the increased number of workstation and technology requirements. Creative elliptical geometry produced the most effective design concept to achieve the Watch Floor Operations Program.
