DBI was retained by the World Bank to provide test-fits, space plans, pocket-construction and large-scale construction documents and move planning for 1,200 staff members. One of the most interesting features of this project was to assist the World Bank in designing and developing the Hoteling Areas that helped achieve the compaction necessary to fit scheduled occupants into the Main Complex. Thirty-three Hoteling areas were developed Bank-wide to house short and long term consultants.
DBI provided a unique design aesthetic for the Hoteling oteliHareas to appeal to consultants scheduled to work there. Another advantage for the Bank was the introduction of Revit software to document and manage the migration of furniture from the H-Building to all other Bank buildings.
